Formula 3 have announced that three of W Series' youngest drivers, Abbi Pulling, Chloe Chambers and Tereza Babickova, alongside Formula 4 and Formula Regional driver Hamda Al Qubaisi, will take part in a two day F3 test at the Circuit de Nevers Magny-Cours in France.
This test is part of a larger diversity plan across the FIA single-seater pyramid, aiming to give better access to more female drivers. Last year, W Series drivers Nerea Martí and Irina Sidorkova, and Iron Dames' Maya Weug and Doriane Pin took part in a similar test.

Each driver will be testing for a full day, with two cars on track per day. Pulling and Al Qubaisi are scheduled to take to the track on the first day, whilst Chambers and Babickova will take the wheel on the second and final day of the test.
The four female drivers will be introduced to the category, its car and its various set-ups. As well as experiencing the environments' demands and challenges.

This opportunity showcases a step in the right direction both for W Series and in the wider drive to progress women in motorsport.
Emirati, Hamda Al Qubaisi said, "I’m thrilled to be invited by the FIA F3 promoters to take part in this high profile test, it’s a very strong message in acknowledging Female drivers."
Despite recently stating it would be 'very unlikely' that there will be a female driver in Formula 1 within the next five years, CEO Stefano Domenicali said, "Providing more opportunities for women drivers across single seater racing is a key priority for all of us at Formula 1 and across the whole sport."
