Recent reports are slowly seeping out of Finnish newspapers with the understanding that Kimi Raikkonen, 2007 World Champion, will be moving to Alfa Romeo Sauber to take the 20 year old Monegasque, Charles Leclerc's seat. Whilst Leclerc would take Raikkonen's seat at Ferrari. Ultimately the two drivers would switch seats for the 2019 season.

After the recent death of Sergio Marchionne, former Ferrari chairman, reports have said he wished for Leclerc to take the place of Raikkonen for the 2019 season. However, the current Ferrari management board are believed to favour the 38 year old Finn for the drive next season.

Moreover, reports have surfaced from Finnish newspaper ,Ilta Sanomat, in that Kimi Raikkonen has bought a share in the Alfa Romeo Sauber F1 team. Additionally, with Kimi's alleged new share in the Sauber team he would potentially stop his main role as a driver and move to a more behind the scenes managerial role.

However, it is still unsure as to whether this is fact or just rumours strung together. Hopefully Ferrari will begin to shed some light on this situation. Who will be partnering Sebastian Vettel next season?
